Hey guys, been awhile but I got a new Jeep

Hey everyone, it's been awhile since I posted here. Last time I was asking for opinions regarding a JK Rubicon. Well forget that. Almost 4 weeks ago I bought a '04 TJ Rubicon with 24K miles on it. I just today turned 25K on the odometer. I've done some mods like removing the plastic bumper ends (front & rear - for now I like the look better this way), Roll bar grab handles, roll bar fire extinguisher and flashlight holders, KC windshield light mounts (I haven't installed the KC 6" slimlites (long range) yet. I've got a Teraflex 1" aluminum body lift kit and a Saavy aluminum gas tank skid (also) yet to be installed. Another mod yet to be installed is a Swag tail gate conversion kit. I need to get a rear bumper tire carrier before I can do this mod. If you're not familiar with this kit, it turns the stock swing out tail gate into a drop down much like a pickup truck.

Anyway, next up will be aftermarket skids, including a tummy tuck. I found a aluminum transfer case skid from Undercover Fabworks that I would like to get - otherwise pretty much everything else will probably end up being steel skids - Unless I find other skids made out of aluminum. I am looking to save as much weight as possible. After these protection essentials, I would like to add a Saavy aluminum front bumper and (as noted) a rear tire carrier style bumper.

But for now, here are a few pic's I took the morning after I purchased the Rubi.

Hey Don, whatcha think? ha, ha! I knew there was a reason I chose LOST JEEPS instead of KJ's.

Oh yeah, for everyone else, I traded a '02 KJ Liberty Limited for this Rubi. I miss the luxury bells & whistles plus the cargo space but I couldn't be happier! After all, now I'm fully locked!! :pepper: :pepper:

Naw - I was thinking brushed / silver painted wheels. So I tell you what, you buy me 5 new Walker Evans wheels and I will give you my Moabs.
